Flipkart Roles & Responsibilities

This is a mix of technical role and team management role.

This role would own the network function and be accountable for anything and everything related to the network.

Manage a team of 20+ in size which includes Managers and Network Architects.

Independently own the Network Infrastructure support solving complex issues and suggest design modifications as appropriate.

Ensure SLAs are met and track SLA breaches.

Taking control of the situation during a crisis .

Manage BAU support, update the stakeholders with meaningful data.

Responsible for driving  business growth and expansions from a networking standpoint.

Responsible for generating performance dashboard to BUs.

Responsible for ensuring that the team  is adhering to all the organization wide processes , making sure that team follows all best practices and technical documentations.

Develop, modify and execute policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company wide effect.

Problem management, capacity planning and analysis, performance analysis & Root Cause Analysis.

Review entire environment and execute initiatives to reduce failures, defects and improving overall performance

Drive automation within the team and influence others .

Ability to handle multiple complex tasks in a dynamic environment, with tight deadlines concurrently.

Mentoring the next layer members in the team.

Generate meaningful reports to improve the team's performance.

Use critical thinking and project management discipline, tools and techniques in the day to day to execution of responsibilities and in resource and workload planning.
